This one-session class reviews normal growth and development in infants from birth to 6 months of age. Topics include sleep habits, feeding, swaddling, baby wearing, calming a crying baby, family values clarification when facing unexpected challenges, managing stress as new parents, and dispelling myths of early parenting. This is a fun, interactive class that will help reduce any anxiety you might be feeling. It is also appropriate for couples adopting a newborn baby.
This class may be taken during pregnancy or anytime after. In-person classes take place at the Old Stone Church 251 Main Street, East Haven. Caregivers (grandparents-to-be, etc.) are welcome to attend with you via Facetime at no additional cost. Online classes take place on Zoom.
